Kayaks

On our paddling ecotours we use Necky Looksha "T" tandem kayaks.  At over 18', these are the industry standard kayaks for any serious outfitter or expedition racer.  No recreational kayaks here!  These kayaks are designed to take you anywhere under any conditions gliding easily through our tranquil estuarine lagoons.  We have found that this is essential for a comfortable and relaxing exploration.  We also make available kayaks with a more spacious open-cockpit for anyone who may have mobility concerns.  These kayaks are Old Town Dirigo Tandems.  They are also used for our family tours to keep the younger kids close by their parents allowing 2 adults and a child to paddle together.  Tandem kayaks reduce impact and are twice as efficient as single kayak allowing us to cover up to 5 miles even with a group of beginners......two people doing the work of one!

On our fishing ecotours we utilize Hobie "Pro-Angler" Mirage Drive kayaks.  At $2600, there is not a finer fishing kayak on the planet!  Again, we have spared no expense and can boast that we are the only tour outfitter in the area that makes these available.  Put the paddle away and enjoy hands-free fishing or photography.  Private "Pedal-Drive" tours are available for groups of up to 4 upon request!  You will be amazed with the acceleration, comfort and sea worthiness of this new technology.

Paddles

Aquabound Stingray paddles are used.  These lightweight paddles really help to lighten the load and make for hours of easy paddling enjoyment!

Life Jackets-PFD's (Personal Flotation Device)

MTI "APF", All-Person-Fit life jackets are incredibly comfortable and breathable in the hot Florida sun.  We avoid the most common complaint in the kayak tour industry.  That is.........."moldy, stinky life jackets!"  Ours are washed and dried properly everyday. 

Extras

Dry bags are provided for each kayak to ensure that all of your personal belongings stay safe.  Only a few drips on a remote key chain can keep you at the park all day.  Don't worry about risking your own camera equipment.  Your guides are always equipped with a waterproof digital camera to capture the memories.  We've found that it is difficult to photograph yourself in a kayak so we decided to do it for you.  You will receive pictures via email shortly after the tour at no extra charge!
