Kayak Faver-Dykes State Park Tour

Faver-Dykes State Park Tour

Join Ripple Effect Adventure Outfitters to experience the wonder of the fragile ecosystem of Pellicer Creek and its abundant wildlife — a real Florida adventure! From your kayak, we show you a bald eagle nest. The birds have been longtime residents of the park. You may see river otters, dolphins, manatees, and many bird species, too. Our guides are professional kayakers and expert naturalists.

Pellicer Creek, a state canoe trail and Outstanding Florida Waterway, begins in wetlands in Flagler County. Fed by numerous smaller creeks, it flows through Faver-Dykes State Park, meandering through salt marshes bordered by hardwood forests. Pellicer Creek eventually enters the magnificent lagoon at the Matanzas River, where it meets the Atlantic Ocean.

Within the park, you can enjoy visiting a variety of plant communities: pinelands, hammocks, swamps, bayheads, and marshes. The peaceful setting offers the unhurried visitor a chance to relax, reflect, explore, discover, and wonder. The tour fee includes entry to the park, so please feel free to explore the park after the tour is over.

Space is limited to ensure a high-quality experience. A portion of the proceeds goes directly to the Friends of Faver-Dykes for park improvement projects.
